# Our Story

SimplyWise began with a simple idea: small businesses deserve tools that respect how hard they work. Everyone on our team has experienced what it's like to build a business from the ground up. We know the pride that comes with creating something of your own, and the pressure that comes with being responsible for it every day. For a small business owner, a business isn't just work. It's how you take care of your family, your home, your community.

Too often, running a small business means the work doesn't end when the tools are put away. Nights get spent writing estimates, reviewing budgets, trying to keep up with paperwork that has nothing to do with why you started in the first place. That time adds up. And it pulls you away from the work you're good at and the life you're working to build.

That's why we built SimplyWise. We're creating simple apps that take the admin off your plate, so you can spend more of your day fixing, building, and helping people—and when the day ends, actually be done. Our goal is to quietly support the people who do honest, hands-on work by helping them hold onto more of their time, their money, and their pride in the work they do.

# Our Values

## Prioritize what matters

Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. We don't assume anything about what they want; instead, we engage with them and gather empirical evidence.

## Shipping is winning

We're highly practical, focused on the 20% that moves 80% of the needle. That means getting product into the hands of our customers as quickly as possible.

## Weirdos welcome

Our diverse voices are our competitive advantage. We strive to build an inclusive, curious team whose members have different experiences and backgrounds. They are at the heart of everything we do. We don't assume anything about what they want; instead, we engage with them and gather empirical evidence.

You build. We'll do the busywork.
